JOB OVERVIEW
Qatar Airways is hiring a Procurement Officer in Doha to support global fuel operations and procurement through sourcing, supplier management, tender administration and commercial coordination.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support procurement sourcing and evaluate user-department specifications.
- Negotiate costs and commercial terms for low-to-medium value goods and services.
- Support supplier management, contract administration, tenders and market analysis.
- Maintain accurate purchase orders, item codes and procurement records.
- Resolve procurement delays and supplier-response challenges.
- Support compliance, audit requirements and sourcing-strategy implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- High School/Vocational/Diploma with at least 4 years of job-related experience; OR Bachelor’s degree/equivalent with at least 3 years.
- Airline, Middle East or category-specific experience valued.
- Airline procurement experience preferred.
- Fluent English with strong communication, negotiation and numeracy skills.
