JOB OVERVIEW
Halliburton is recruiting a Technical Manager in Basra, Iraq, to lead technical evaluation and field development planning for large-scale oil and gas projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a core multidisciplinary team of geoscientists and petroleum engineers.
- Develop conceptual field development plans for challenging oilfield environments.
- Implement best practices across evaluation, well engineering, and field development planning.
- Coordinate technical resources across Halliburton product service lines and regions.
- Ensure technical evaluation and development planning work is accurate and delivered on time.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or another applicable Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of oil and gas exploration and production experience.
- Relevant experience may include geoscience interpretation, reservoir or production engineering, field development, unconventional reservoirs, and technical staff supervision or management.
