JOB OVERVIEW

Marriott International is recruiting a Maintenance team member for Agora Doha Autograph Collection in Lusail, Qatar. This full-time engineering and facilities role responds to guest repair requests, performs preventive maintenance and basic repairs, and supports safe, reliable operation of hotel equipment, building systems and guest-room facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate professionally with guests while resolving maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment and mechanical-room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect tools, equipment and machinery and operate building and equipment shut-off systems safely.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and request parts and supplies when required.
• Carry out basic troubleshooting and repairs across plumbing, electrical components, guest-room equipment, painting, minor drywall and wood trim, lighting and air-conditioning filters.
• Support engineering-related inventory duties and use computer systems to enter and retrieve maintenance information.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all company safety, security and hazardous-material requirements.
• Communicate shift activities and unresolved issues clearly to colleagues and supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Some general maintenance experience, including interior/exterior surface preparation and painting.
• Hotel engineering or maintenance experience is an advantage.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Basic knowledge, or ability to develop knowledge, across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air-conditioning/refrigeration and general building maintenance.
