JOB OVERVIEW

Marriott International is recruiting a Life Guard for The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain in Manama, Bahrain. The role focuses on swimmer safety, emergency response and maintaining a safe, welcoming recreation environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Observe swimming areas and respond to unsafe conditions or swimmers requiring assistance.
• Use appropriate rescue techniques and provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Promote recreation facility rules and identify situations where guests may not be able to participate safely.
• Maintain pool-deck standards, including towel handling and cleaning duties.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions and follow company safety procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• No related work experience required.
• CPR certification and First Aid certification required.
• Any certification or training required by local and state agencies is required.
