Professor/Lecturer – Product Design – Exhibition Design/Spatial Design

JOB OVERVIEW

The German University in Cairo is inviting applications for a Professor/Lecturer role in Product Design focused on exhibition and spatial design, contributing to undergraduate and graduate teaching and research.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach spatial concepts, design systems and exhibition-design methods.
• Guide students in temporary and permanent exhibitions, showrooms and public-space design.
• Promote undergraduate and graduate research and contribute to funded projects.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues and external partners on design initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Architecture or Interior Design.
• Practical experience in exhibition, showroom/shop or public-space design.
• Strong English communication and writing skills.
• Academic title depends on highest degree, industrial experience, teaching and research background.
