Nonmetallic Engineering Specialist

JOB OVERVIEW

Aramco is recruiting a Nonmetallic Engineering Specialist for a full-time role within Saudi Arabia. The position supports nonmetallic-material deployment, strategy implementation, design reviews, company standards, operations and new-project evaluation across oil and gas and building-and-construction applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review capital projects and provide consultation on qualified nonmetallic products in engineering design packages.
• Support research and pilot projects aimed at improving unit performance.
• Develop and update specifications, standards, procedures and best practices.
• Assess and qualify vendors and support periodic vendor evaluations.
• Introduce viable nonmetallic technologies into Aramco facilities.
• Participate in investigations, audits, value engineering and improvement teams.
• Support design and construction of nonmetallic product systems and mentor developing engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Materials, Polymers or Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 20 years of professional engineering experience in nonmetallic materials, specifically in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of nonmetallic products, qualification and testing, technical support and technology management.
• Professional-society affiliation such as ASME, API, ISO or NACE is highly desirable.
