Legal Counsel

JOB OVERVIEW

Gulf Air Group is recruiting a Legal Counsel for its Corporate Affairs division in Bahrain. The role supports the Legal Affairs Department in ensuring Group activities and relationships comply with applicable local and international laws and are managed on a sound legal basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Identify and address legal issues and risks related to operations, strategic initiatives and litigation.
• Support compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor contracts and provide legal review on new and updated agreements.
• Provide legal advice and support to management and business teams.
• Review complaints and inquiries submitted to the Legal Affairs Department.
• Prepare periodic legal reports covering achievements, obstacles and proposed solutions.
• Support Human Resources on employment matters, including employment contracts and related documentation.
• Advise on commercial, civil aviation, employment, regulatory and litigation matters.
• Maintain confidentiality of legal information.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified lawyer with a Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Minimum 6 years of post-qualification legal experience.
