Front Desk Agent

JOB OVERVIEW

Mövenpick Hotel Al Zaytoon Baghdad is recruiting a full-time, permanent Front Desk Agent in Baghdad, Iraq. The role serves as a first point of contact and supports a welcoming, organized and professional front-desk environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and welcome visitors professionally and direct them to the appropriate department or person.
• Answer, screen and manage incoming calls, emails and other communications.
• Schedule appointments and maintain executive and meeting-room calendars.
• Support data entry, filing, document preparation and record management.
• Coordinate with departments to support smooth office operations and information flow.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages and deliveries.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area.
• Follow visitor-access and security procedures.
• Assist with office supplies and basic administrative support.
• Handle inquiries and resolve basic issues while adapting to changing priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Strong multitasking, time-management and organizational skills.
• Professional, customer-focused approach and strong phone etiquette.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of office-management systems and visitor-management procedures.
• Previous front-desk, receptionist or customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Hospitality, corporate or customer-service experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with appointment-scheduling software and communication platforms is preferred.
