JOB OVERVIEW
BUTEC is hiring a Planning Engineer in Abu Dhabi to support project planning, budgeting and cost-control activities. The role combines schedule and commercial awareness with regular reporting on project performance and deviations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and update project budgets, cost-control information and cash-flow forecasts.
- Review drawings and project information to support material and cost estimates.
- Allocate and monitor resource costs against project requirements.
- Support site planning and cost-control teams with timely project information.
- Analyze deviations between planned and actual performance and prepare management reports.
- Coordinate planning and cost data with project stakeholders to support informed decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated capability in project planning, budgeting and cost control.
- Ability to analyze drawings, resource requirements and project cost information.
- Strong reporting and coordination skills.
