Senior Site Engineer (Structures)

JOB OVERVIEW

AESG is recruiting a Senior Site Engineer – Structures in Dubai to serve as the structural technical authority within the site-supervision team and oversee structural construction throughout the project lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect structural works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
• Review shop drawings, reinforcement details, temporary works, method statements and material submittals.
• Supervise reinforced-concrete works including foundations, slabs, columns, beams, walls and suspended structures.
• Monitor structural-steel fabrication, erection and connection quality.
• Witness concrete pours, reinforcement inspections and structural testing.
• Review concrete mix designs, material tests and laboratory reports.
• Mentor inspectors and junior engineers and support the Resident Engineer with quality, safety and programme objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of post-graduate structural site-supervision experience.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE/GCC experience on major building-construction projects.
• Strong reinforced-concrete, structural-steel, temporary-works and UAE-code knowledge.
• Professional registration or Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
