Project Engineer

JOB OVERVIEW

Amal Petroleum SAOC is hiring a Project Engineer in Muscat to oversee planning, coordination and execution of engineering projects from concept through completion while controlling technical standards, schedule and budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop project plans and technical specifications and review engineering drawings and designs.
• Coordinate internal teams, contractors and suppliers to resolve engineering and construction issues.
• Monitor progress, support site activities and maintain project documentation.
• Support risk assessments and compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong project-engineering, project-management and planning skills.
• Oil and gas or industrial-project experience and HSE familiarity are beneficial.
• AutoCAD and project-planning software proficiency are beneficial; PMP or equivalent is an advantage.
