Debt Collector

JOB OVERVIEW

Nandrlon is seeking a responsible and results-oriented Debt Collector to follow up on outstanding customer balances, maintain accurate collection records, and support timely payment recovery. The role requires professional customer communication, strong follow-up skills, and close coordination with the finance and sales teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and overdue payments.
• Contact customers professionally by phone, approved digital channels, and field visits when required.
• Coordinate with the finance and sales teams regarding customer balances, payment schedules, and collection status.
• Maintain accurate records of collections, payments, commitments, and customer follow-up activities.
• Prepare regular reports on overdue balances and collection progress.
• Resolve routine payment-related issues and escalate difficult or disputed cases to management when necessary.
• Maintain positive business relationships while ensuring effective and timely debt recovery.
• Follow company policies, documentation requirements, and confidentiality standards in all collection activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in debt collection, accounts receivable, finance, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to deal professionally with customers and maintain positive business relationships.
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare collection reports and maintain accurate payment records.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic is required; English is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel within Erbil and other locations when required.
