Reception Manager

JOB OVERVIEW

Sunset Hospitality Group is hiring a Reception Manager in Dubai to oversee front-of-house reception and reservations for its SUSHISAMBA and Signor Sassi lifestyle dining concepts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead Reception, Hostess and Reservations teams and maintain premium guest-service standards.
• Manage daily reservations, table allocation, waitlists and seating strategy.
• Build relationships with VIP guests, regular customers and hotel partners.
• Handle guest enquiries, special requests, complaints and service recovery.
• Coordinate with Restaurant Managers and Operations teams during peak service periods.
• Coach and develop team members and manage reception schedules.
• Monitor reservation trends and prepare performance reports.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within luxury restaurants or lifestyle dining.
• Knowledge of reservation platforms such as SevenRooms or equivalent.
• Experience leading multicultural teams in high-volume operations.
• Strong guest engagement, communication and service-recovery skills.
• Fluent English; Italian, Russian, French or Spanish is advantageous.
