Lathe Machine Operator

JOB OVERVIEW

Arabian United Float Glass Company (UFG) is recruiting a Lathe Machine Operator for its maintenance team in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The position is responsible for precision machining, repair of mechanical components, equipment care and safe workshop operations in an industrial manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate lathe, milling, shaping and threading machines safely and efficiently.
• Manufacture and repair mechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspect finished components to verify dimensional accuracy and required quality standards.
• Use precision measuring instruments to check machined parts where required.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment faults or operating issues.
• Follow applicable safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Technical College Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating lathe, milling, shaping and threading machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments is preferred.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
