Barge/Vessel Client Representative

JOB OVERVIEW

Bureau Veritas is hiring a Barge/Vessel Client Representative in Abu Dhabi to represent the client during offshore installation campaigns and oversee safe, contract-compliant execution of marine construction activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the client focal point during offshore installation and vessel-based construction campaigns.
• Monitor contractor execution against approved procedures, contract requirements and project standards.
• Coordinate operational interfaces with ADNOC Offshore marine representatives and project stakeholders.
• Observe offshore safety performance and ensure issues are escalated and corrected promptly.
• Review progress, construction quality and operational readiness for marine activities.
• Maintain clear field communication and reporting throughout offshore execution.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering qualification.
• 15 years of offshore oil and gas construction experience.
• At least 10 years of experience across offshore structures and installation activities such as jackets, decks, bridges, subsea cables, pipelines, risers, hook-up and pre-commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC HSE and marine standards.
• Strong understanding of offshore safety codes and construction practices.
