Marine Maintenance Technician

JOB OVERVIEW

Oman Tank Terminal Co (OTTCO), part of OQ, is recruiting a Marine Maintenance Technician for Ras Markaz and Duqm, Oman. The position supports maintenance of offshore and marine terminal assets including SPM facilities, marine loading arms and hoses, navigation aids and related offshore infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support safe and timely maintenance of offshore and marine facilities in coordination with marine operations and maintenance contractors.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for SPMs and associated offshore assets in line with OEM requirements and maintenance plans.
• Support annual and periodic SPM maintenance, calibration and readiness activities.
• Maintain offshore spare-parts availability and support emergency preparedness requirements.
• Support maintenance of marine loading arms, hoses and other terminal equipment.
• Coordinate with marine operations and shore control teams during tanker missions and operational activities.
• Follow company QHSE policies, offshore emergency-response procedures and marine-security requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maritime studies or a similar field.
• More than 2 years of relevant experience in a similar oil & gas maintenance and operations role.
• Offshore or marine maintenance experience; SPM experience is preferred.
• Understanding of ISGOTT 6, OCIMF and relevant international marine standards.
• Knowledge of refinery and oil-terminal operations, maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, time management and priority-setting skills.
