JOB OVERVIEW
QatarEnergy is recruiting a SR. SAFETY OFFICER (CONTRACTS) in Doha, Qatar. This position supports safe operations by identifying risks, maintaining effective controls and helping teams follow required health, safety and operational standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor operational conditions and support implementation of safety procedures.
- Identify hazards, assess risk and follow up corrective actions.
- Support inspections, incident prevention and emergency-readiness activities.
- Maintain clear safety records and communicate issues promptly.
- Promote a strong safety culture through professional and consistent practice.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant safety, HSE, emergency-response or operational experience appropriate to the role.
- Practical understanding of risk awareness, prevention and safe working practices.
- Strong observation, communication and incident-reporting skills.
- Calm, responsible and safety-conscious working style.
