Backend Software Engineer Project Intern (Corporate Service System) - 2026 Start

JOB OVERVIEW

ByteDance is recruiting a Backend Software Engineer Project Intern in Dubai to help design, develop, test and deploy software solutions for its Corporate Service System.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test and deploy backend software features.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug issues and improve system reliability and performance.
• Work with cross-functional teams on technical requirements and feature delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation and support engineering knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to cloud, data and AI-enabled service development where relevant.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Programming ability in Golang, Java, C++ or Python.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms and software-engineering principles.
• Familiarity with Git, SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Exposure to AI/ML/LLMs, Spring Boot, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, CI/CD, Docker or Kubernetes is advantageous.
• Ability to commit to a continuous internship, ideally three months or longer.
