Events Officer - 12 Month Contract

JOB OVERVIEW

Emirates is recruiting an Events Officer in Dubai on a 12-month contract to plan and coordinate corporate events within the Group’s marketing and communications portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support event calendars and projects from planning through on-site delivery.
• Coordinate invitations, registration, transport, VIP accommodation, hospitality and other event logistics.
• Ensure branding and business messages follow approved Emirates guidelines.
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage cost-effective use of event budgets.
• Coordinate deliverables with Creative Services, Marketing Operations, PR and Visual Services.
• Monitor supplier performance and corporate-quality standards.
• Prepare pre-event and post-event reports, evaluations and improvement recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Honours qualification (12+3 or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing & Media Communication or a related discipline.
• Proven event experience in a multinational organization; hospitality-industry experience is relevant.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organization and project-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple event priorities.
