Resident Engineer

JOB OVERVIEW

AECOM is recruiting a Resident Engineer in Dubai to serve as the site technical authority for large-scale building construction, ensuring project quality, safety, regulatory compliance, schedule and cost performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and coordinate site engineering and construction-supervision activities.
• Inspect construction quality and verify compliance with project documents and UAE requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, inspection records and quality logs.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and clients to resolve site issues.
• Implement site safety requirements and risk controls.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for project management and client review.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 20 years of building-engineering experience with large-scale project-management responsibility.
• Strong construction-management, scheduling, cost-analysis, quality and site-safety capability.
• Middle East or comparable international project experience.
