Supply Chain Team Lead - ESG

JOB OVERVIEW

Descon is hiring a Supply Chain Team Lead - ESG in Abu Dhabi to strengthen sustainable procurement, supplier governance and supply-chain transformation, including SAP S/4HANA-related process improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct supplier and subcontractor ESG assessments and support due diligence.
• Implement and monitor the Supplier Code of Conduct and sustainability KPIs.
• Collect and assess supplier greenhouse-gas and sustainability data.
• Identify supply-chain ESG risks and strengthen governance controls.
• Support green-procurement and responsible-sourcing initiatives.
• Map supply-chain processes and support data, testing and digitalization activities for SAP S/4HANA transformation.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 5–12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in supply chain, procurement or subcontracting within oil and gas, EPC or industrial services.
• Understanding of ESG principles and sustainable procurement practices.
