Activities Officer

JOB OVERVIEW

The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah Al Wadi Desert is seeking a full-time Activities Officer to support the property’s recreation experience. The position serves as a key guest resource for recreational facilities and activities while helping maintain safe, well-organized and engaging leisure operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide guests with accurate information about available recreation facilities and activities.
• Register and schedule guests for recreation activities and encourage participation.
• Promote and enforce recreation rules and safety procedures.
• Observe recreational areas and respond appropriately to emergencies in line with local procedures.
• Provide first-response assistance to injured guests until emergency medical support arrives.
• Process payments for applicable recreation activities, rentals or retail transactions.
• Assist with private functions, group activities and events.
• Maintain recreation facilities, equipment and supplies in a clean and serviceable condition.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• No previous related work or supervisory experience required.
• CPR certification required.
• First Aid certification required.
• Recreation-equipment certification/training and any locally required agency certification or training.
• Professional communication and guest-service skills.
