JOB OVERVIEW
Wood is recruiting a Telecom Engineer in Muscat, Oman. This technology position supports secure, reliable and efficient systems or infrastructure, working with technical stakeholders to maintain service quality and resolve operational issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the availability, performance and security of assigned technology services.
- Investigate technical issues and coordinate effective resolution.
- Maintain system configuration, monitoring, documentation and operational controls.
- Support upgrades, changes, backup, recovery or automation activities as relevant to the platform.
- Work closely with technical and business teams to improve service reliability.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant technical experience with the systems, infrastructure or technologies associated with the role.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and technical-documentation skills.
- Understanding of secure operations, change control and service reliability.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary technical teams.
