Technical Manager (MEP)

JOB OVERVIEW

ALEMCO is recruiting a Technical Manager (MEP) in Abu Dhabi to lead multidisciplinary engineering coordination on complex building-services projects, with particular emphasis on technically demanding data-centre environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead technical MEP coordination across mechanical, electrical and related engineering disciplines.
• Review designs, technical submissions and coordinated engineering deliverables for constructability and compliance.
• Drive resolution of technical interfaces between design, construction, specialist systems and project stakeholders.
• Guide engineering teams on design standards, quality requirements and project priorities.
• Support technical decision-making for power, cooling, redundancy and other mission-critical systems.
• Coordinate with project management, consultants, subcontractors and clients on technical matters.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of MEP engineering experience with strong technical-leadership responsibility.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination and design-management capability.
• Recent hyperscale/data-centre exposure is emphasized in the vacancy, including understanding of power, cooling and redundancy requirements.
