Fire Protection Trainer/Operator

JOB OVERVIEW

Aramco is recruiting a Fire Protection Trainer/Operator for its Engineering & Training Services Division under the Fire Protection Organization. The position supports accredited fire protection and emergency-response training and focuses on curriculum development, instruction, competency assessment, accreditation support and operational readiness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, review and validate competency-based fire protection and emergency-response curricula and assessments.
• Deliver classroom, field, simulation and live-fire training in line with applicable NFPA standards and accreditation requirements.
• Conduct training-needs analysis, competency-gap assessments and trainee performance evaluations.
• Coach and develop instructors and support national and international accreditation requirements.
• Maintain safe, operationally ready training facilities, equipment and live-fire environments.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Emergency Management, Occupational Safety, Education or a related discipline; extensive relevant experience and professional certifications may also be considered.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive industrial or municipal fire-service experience.
• Minimum five years of fire-service instruction, curriculum development, training delivery or instructional-program management experience.
• Required certifications include Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Fire Service Instructor II, Hazardous Materials Operations and Fire Officer I or II.
• Ability to meet physical-fitness requirements and safely perform duties in live-fire and IDLH environments.
