Director of Operations

JOB OVERVIEW

Marriott International is recruiting a full-time Director of Operations for Courtyard by Marriott Nizwa Resort in Nizwa, Oman. The position is the strategic business leader for hotel operations and reports directly to the General Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead operational areas including Front Office, Business Center, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage/Culinary, and Engineering/Maintenance.
• Work with department heads to implement operational strategies, Marriott brand standards and service initiatives.
• Drive guest satisfaction, employee engagement, revenue growth and departmental financial performance.
• Support positive owner relations and property-wide strategies for service and return on investment.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Strong Food & Beverage operational background with multi-department leadership experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of senior operational leadership experience in the GCC hospitality market.
• Previous resort experience is preferred.
• GCC experience is essential; Oman local-market experience is advantageous.
• Marriott brand and pre-opening resort experience are advantages.
