Senior HR Specialist

JOB OVERVIEW

MASAR | Recruitment & HR Solutions is recruiting a Senior HR Specialist for one of its clients, a leading banking institution in Baghdad, Iraq. The role supports core HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, workforce planning and organizational development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and support HR functions in line with the bank’s policies and procedures.
• Handle employee relations and provide HR support to employees and management.
• Manage recruitment and selection processes for assigned positions.
• Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and processes.
• Prepare HR reports and provide insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable labor regulations.
• Support workforce planning and organizational development activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably within the banking or financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and best practices.
• Good understanding of recruitment, employee relations, performance management and HR operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Good command of English and strong computer skills.
