Protection Officer

JOB OVERVIEW

Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is recruiting a Protection Officer for Diyala, with duty locations covering Jalawla and Baquba. The role supports protection activities, case-management quality and community-based protection work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support protection monitoring, case management, referrals and community-based protection activities.
• Conduct or support assessments, consultations and follow-up with affected communities and service providers.
• Maintain quality documentation, reporting and coordination in line with DRC protection standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant social, protection or related field.
• Approximately 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Fluency in Arabic and advanced English as stated by the source.
