JOB OVERVIEW
SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences, part of the Accor group, is recruiting a Barista in Dubai to prepare and serve coffee beverages while delivering professional guest service and maintaining food-safety and presentation standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome customers, answer questions and process orders and payments.
- Prepare and serve coffee drinks using prescribed recipes and techniques.
- Explain coffee products, brewing methods and equipment.
- Maintain coffee, pastry and supply inventories.
- Keep coffee-bar equipment operational and support preventive maintenance.
- Maintain a clean dining and beverage-preparation area.
- Follow food-safety regulations and quality controls.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Working proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Basic food-and-beverage product knowledge.
- Ability to handle cash effectively.
- Good communication, customer-service and problem-solving skills.
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
