Occupational Health Consultant

JOB OVERVIEW

Aramco is recruiting an Occupational Health Consultant for the Health Protection Division of its Environmental Protection Department. The role develops and implements occupational-health standards and surveillance programs and provides expert advisory support on health-related risks and programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and oversee health-surveillance processes and job-fitness evaluations.
• Provide occupational-health advice for company projects and processes to minimize health hazards.
• Support occupational-health programs, contractor fitness-to-work standards and emergency-response planning.
• Assess third-party medical providers and monitor quality and compliance.
• Conduct field surveys, support occupational-illness investigations and analyze occupational-health data and programs.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health/Medicine from a recognized program; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of experience, including at least five years of full-time practice in occupational health/medicine.
• Fluent English and the ability to write scientific reports.
• General knowledge of oil-industry processes, workers’ compensation, computerized registries and information systems.
