JOB OVERVIEW
Siemens Energy is hiring an Operations Manager in Erbil to lead safe, reliable and efficient power-plant operations and manage engineering teams, performance, HSE and service-delivery commitments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead daily power-plant operations and operational-performance targets.
- Monitor plant efficiency and coordinate maintenance, commissioning and outage activities.
- Develop operations teams through objectives, coaching and performance management.
- Drive HSE, risk management, compliance, budgeting and operational reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Extensive power-plant operations experience.
- Proven leadership of professional teams in industrial, utility or energy-generation environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of plant systems, HSE, planning, budgeting, procurement and risk management.
