Forward Deployed AI Engineer

JOB OVERVIEW

SAP is recruiting a Forward Deployed AI Engineer in Dubai to build and operate AI-native enterprise applications inside customer-focused delivery teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop cloud-native applications that incorporate LLMs, RAG and agent-based components.
• Build features and integrations for customer environments under senior engineering guidance.
• Prototype, test and iterate AI solutions based on real business requirements.
• Participate in code review, architecture and technical design discussions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot deployed solutions and improve operational reliability.
• Contribute documentation, reusable components and engineering best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Strong software-engineering foundations and Python proficiency.
• Hands-on experience in at least one cloud-native development environment.
• Familiarity with LLMs, ML frameworks and API-based AI services.
• Exposure to data pipelines, MLOps or AI/ML model integration.
• Basic understanding of AWS, Azure or GCP plus tools such as Git, Docker and CI/CD.
• SAP AI Core or SAP BTP exposure is advantageous.
