Machine Learning Intern

JOB OVERVIEW

dubizzle is recruiting a Machine Learning Intern in Dubai for a six-month internship supporting data analysis, model development, evaluation and deployment across consumer marketplace products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Query and analyze large datasets using SQL.
• Perform data exploration and data-quality checks.
• Build statistical and machine-learning models using Python.
• Evaluate and fine-tune models and help improve performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on production deployment of ML models.
• Build reporting outputs and metrics and support monitoring of live models.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in AI, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science or another quantitative field.
• Strong statistics and mathematics fundamentals.
• Basic machine-learning knowledge and practical SQL skills.
• Familiarity with visualization/reporting tools.
• Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
