Job description
JOB OVERVIEW
TAQA is recruiting a Drilling Engineer in Dammam to plan, design and support safe, efficient drilling programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop well plans and select drilling techniques, equipment and components.
- Prepare technical reports, well plans and post-drilling evaluations.
- Monitor drilling performance against approved plans.
- Coordinate with drilling, geology, reservoir and production teams.
- Support pre-job analysis for downhole-tool operations and recommend technical approaches.
- Promote HSE compliance and mentor junior technical staff.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- BSc in Engineering; Petroleum, Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 3 years in directional drilling and drilling engineering.
