Geophysics Advisor - Geophysics Advisor, Senior - Technical Manager

JOB OVERVIEW

Halliburton is recruiting Geophysics Advisor-level opportunities in Basra, Iraq, to provide expert geophysical interpretation, seismic reservoir characterization, and subsurface imaging support for an oil and gas asset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply advanced development geophysical techniques to oil and gas field evaluation and development.
• Integrate seismic, geological, and engineering data to improve reservoir understanding and reduce uncertainty.
• Lead seismic interpretation, attribute analysis, inversion, AVO, depth-conversion, and imaging workflows.
• Support field development plans, well placement, drilling programs, and prospect evaluation.
• Participate in technical reviews and mentor less-experienced geoscientists.
• Promote best practices, digital tools, and innovative geoscience techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Undergraduate degree in Geophysics.
• Minimum 10 years of oil and gas exploration and production experience.
• Experience may include development or technical geophysics, static modeling, operations geology, and field development planning.
• Field development and reservoir management experience on a producing oil and gas field.
• Extensive experience in clastic and/or carbonate reservoirs; mature or brownfield asset exposure preferred.
