Senior Information Security Officer

JOB OVERVIEW

ZainCash is recruiting a Senior Information Security Officer in Baghdad, Iraq. This position helps protect business systems, information and technology services by strengthening security controls, monitoring risk and supporting the organization’s cybersecurity framework.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and strengthen information-security controls across systems and business processes.
• Support security risk assessments, vulnerability management and incident response activities.
• Review security events, findings and control effectiveness.
• Coordinate remediation actions with technology and business stakeholders.
• Maintain security documentation, reporting and compliance evidence.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant experience in cybersecurity, information security or technology risk.
• Practical understanding of security controls, risk assessment and incident-management concepts.
• Strong analytical, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate security issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
