Senior Exploration Minerals Geologist

JOB OVERVIEW

Aramco is recruiting a Senior Exploration Minerals Geologist to support the Aramco Minerals technical team within the Upstream business line. The role advises on identifying and evaluating mineral deposits and developing exploration strategies and programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop exploration and mining strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Analyze geological, geophysical and geochemical data to identify high-potential targets.
• Support metallurgical testing, drilling programs, geological interpretation, deposit modeling and reserve/resource evaluation.
• Use GIS and 3D modeling tools to analyze large datasets and support exploration decisions.
• Implement QA/QC protocols, prepare technical reports and provide guidance to junior team members.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering or a related field; an MSc is preferred.
• Approximately 15 years of experience, including 5–10 years in mineral exploration or a similar role; Aramco notes that candidates with more or less experience may be considered based on quality of experience.
• Field experience plus proficiency in geological mapping, modeling and exploration-data analysis tools.
• Professional registration such as PGeo or RPGeo is highly preferred.
