Director of Finance

JOB OVERVIEW

Mandarin Oriental is recruiting a Director of Finance in Muscat, Oman. This position supports financial planning, reporting, analysis and control activities, helping the business maintain accurate financial information and make well-informed commercial decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, review and analyze financial information relevant to the role.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting.
• Maintain accurate records, controls and reconciliations in line with internal requirements.
• Work with business stakeholders to explain financial performance and support decisions.
• Contribute to process improvement, compliance and timely financial deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, financial analysis or a closely related area.
• Strong numerical, analytical and reporting capability.
• Good attention to detail, control awareness and ability to work with financial data.
• Effective communication and stakeholder-management skills.
