JOB OVERVIEW
Wood is recruiting an Expediting Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead project expediting and supplier-delivery activities across major oil and gas projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead expediting activities and supplier-delivery follow-up across projects.
- Coordinate with licensors, clients and suppliers while respecting commercial and confidentiality requirements.
- Develop and maintain project supplier lists and material-management-system data.
- Monitor supplier commitments, market conditions and delivery risks.
- Support the project procurement execution plan and prepare expediting status reporting.
- Lead supplier and project meetings to resolve schedule and delivery issues.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a similar field.
- Minimum 20 years of oil and gas project experience.
- Strong project-expediting and end-to-end procurement experience.
- Strong knowledge of negotiation strategies and oil and gas supply-chain practices.
