Electrician

JOB OVERVIEW

The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah Al Wadi Desert is recruiting a full-time Electrician within its Engineering & Facilities function. The role is responsible for maintaining safe, reliable electrical systems and equipment across the property through installation, testing, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures.
• Inspect and diagnose faults affecting electrical systems, tools, equipment and components.
• Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers and related components and use appropriate electrical testing devices.
• Plan and carry out electrical installations in line with job specifications and applicable electrical and local codes.
• Read and follow blueprints and schematics and respond to repair requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain appropriate parts and supply inventory.
• Follow Marriott safety, security and maintenance procedures and report hazards or equipment problems promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of related work experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with colleagues and guests.
