Senior Financial Analyst

JOB OVERVIEW

Dubai Department of Finance is recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst to prepare financial and accounting analysis, strengthen financial policies and support tax-related operations and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare financial and accounting studies, analysis and management reports.
• Review financial information and contribute recommendations that improve policy and practice.
• Support development and enhancement of accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate tax-related operations, compliance activities and tax-return processes.
• Keep current with developments in finance, accounting and relevant regulatory practice.
• Prepare periodic progress reports covering performance, risks and implementation challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Strong financial-analysis, reporting and accounting capability.
• CMA or CFA certification is an advantage.
